In case of cyclic voltammetry of Pt/Pd nanoparticles in H2SO4, Why are the hydrogen adsorption/desorption peaks not observed to be symmetric?

In principle, the desorption charge for Pd is smaller than the adsorption charge.
If you increase the component of Pt in the Pt/Pd, it will become more symmetric.
In my opinion, the charge for the Hupd on Pt is relatively reversible, but it is not well reversible on Pd owing to the diffusion of H into sublayer of Pd. Thus, the desorption of Hupd on Pd need higher potential relative to the adsorption, resulting in the asymmetric CV.
