In determining the effect of reflective mirror also considering temperature; on the effect of the power output of a solar panel, what is the ideal duration in which the experiment should last, also that this experiment is a prototype. In theory of course you will get more output if you illuminate the rear face as well as the front. But in practice, the gain will be very small. Any rear illumination will be light reflected from the ground, likely 10% or so of full sun. So the gain will be a few percent relative e.g. 19% instead of 18%. There is far more variation in direct solar irradiation due to weather. By all means research the concept but make sure that any rear radiation is substantial.
What you might try is to define a solar panel with given photon to current conversion efficiencies for front and rear illumination, then apply it to real situations and estimate the improvement over one sided. You would need to specify the reflectivity of the ground and the orientation of the panels. But I don't think you will see a large gain in realistic situations. Best wishes with your research!
