In my opinion, apart from the demographic structure of the society, other determinants of the development of a specific formula of education are also important, including vocational and / or general education. These other determinants include the sector-branch structure and changes in the labor markets in the developing economy as well as diagnosed trends in this respect in the perspective of the next, among others. over a dozen years.
Dear @Md. Abdur Razzak Choudhury In overpopulated countries (high number per unit area), unemployment is the major problem. In such countries, to my opinion, vocational education is more important than general education.
Generalist college education is not suitable for many. They would benefit more with a two year vocational degree that quickly teaches them some practical skills and makes them employment-ready in a short time. This is what is needed in an overpopulated country
Both, but due to overpopulation, unemployment problem can be reduced by vocational education rather than general education. Its main advantage is that everyone can be self employed.
Dear Dr. Muhammad Arshad I understood your nice opinion and I fully agreed with you. Our unemployment problem is a great problem of our society. So very beginning we should have to take initiative to solve this problem. Thank you so much for your valuable contribution. Wishes the best.
Thank you so much dear Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak Choudhury for important question. My personal opinion, vocational education will create more earning source.
In an over populated country, there are many problems like poverty, unemployment, pollution, resource depletion, corruption etc. Among these unemployment is the major one. By solving this problem we can also solve other problems for example, poverty. In this case, technical knowledge will be more effective. So from my point of view, vocational education is more important than general education in an over populated country.
Vocational education is sometimes referred to as career and technical education. This kind of education can help us to minimize the unemployment problems.
I would agree that vocational raining would be best where we need qualified individuals to keep our lives going and service the population. Individuals also need the financial certainty that a vocational career can bring.
Each of these educational sector has its own purposes and goals and both are important in our societies. If the person know for sure what is her or his planes will end up she or he can clearly select which sector to be in fur the academic studies. Also, the field is an important factor inhere
This is a very interesting question. First of all, I want to say that education is very much important for the development of any country. This education may be vocational or either general. Actually, both of the education are necessary for any country and also the overpopulated country. I do believe that based on only one education like vocational or general, the country's development will not be possible. Both of them are equally important. However, I think, based on the situation of the country sometimes we have to give more emphasis on vocational education and sometimes we need to give more emphasis on general education.
Dear M. D.H. Prodhan, I understood your straight elucidation dear doctor. I fully agreed with you. Thank you so much for your valuable and significant contribution in this thread. Wishes the best.
Dear Dr. Ayman Alaskari you have correctly stated that each of these educational sector has its own purposes and goals and both are important in our societies. I fully agreed with you. Thank you so much for your valuable and significant contribution in this thread. Wishes the best.
The issue of high population density, with reference to the jackpot of human living chances, depends on the tech-know-logical level of a given societal entity. Vocational training programs, founded on a polytechnic paradigm, are a good short-term means to get people into work and income; this can be even done by educational vidoes, if literacy and technical skills are not developed enough, in the beginning. Concerning the overall stability of any social system, general human education is the key to long-term survival. A broad and learned world knowledge data base enables people (as individuals and the group fabric) to overcome hardships of (and in) life and work by creative solutions and innovations. In this sense, vocational education can serve only as a subcategory of human education or educating humans to participate in the economic jackpot of life. A learning that pays must be concentrated radically on advanced literacy and technical skills, but not to a temporary vocational demand of a market or a state. Therefore, economic and educational freedom seem to be the key for achieving human happiness in this earthly life.
You know, 85% of the jobs that young people will occupy do not exist today, for this I think we must offer students multidisciplinary training and avoid specialized training.
Both education is important. But looking at it from the angle of an overpopulated country, one of the likely challenges will be unemployment which is a big threat to any country, for this reason, I will support vocational education that way everyone will be self-employed.
