I've used a subroutine to represent a moving heat flux (a moving laser), and I'd like to know the temperature under the laser position. I've defined a laser path, however the diagram only shows the temperature of the nodes along the path at the last increment. However, as the laser passes through each node on the path, I want the highest temperature of that node.

Maybe you can specify the following options:

in the Abaqus input file, where the node set "noutput" contains the nodes along the laser path.
In the odb file, you will get temperature values for each node along the path for all increments of the analysis. So, you will then have to take the maximum temperature for each node along the path, among the various increments of the analysis.

I found an other method:
we can define a state variable add this line to the subroutine code:
statve(1)=max(statev(1),temp)
then in the result part we can define a path and draw the SVD1 on the path.
