I have made a half-wing. Doing some 3d sketch lines i want to add tethers to wing leading edge and trailing edge. After drawing them , i tried to export this SW part (including the sketches cause i want the lines-tethers of 3d) as an .IGES and then import it to ansys. I did the .IGS extra needed Options , i checked the all the boxes for exporting sketches too.
Before importing this part to ansys apdl i want to ''clean'' the geometry and do some face split operations in DesignModeler. After the operations i did and after exported the ''cleaned'' file as an .IGS file from designmodeler , i tried to import it to ansys apdl , but the 3d lines i wanted weren't appearing even i did line plotting (lplot) .
When i tried to import directly the ''uncleaned'' geometry and imported to ansys adpl the lines were appearing.
The tethers ara the lines which connect to leading edge and trailing edge , the others are construction lines.
