I designed a antenna working at MHz range. I got -10 db impedance bandwidth for certain range of frequencies. In that range of frequencies I got a spike in impedance bandwidth for -2db. I tried reducing it. Can somebody help me on how I can approach this problem

This spike looks like a resonance caused by parasitic parameters. To solve this problem, you can add a filter or improve your antenna design (reduce parasitic parameters to move the resonant frequency to a higher frequency).

As @Zhenyu Zhao mentions, the appearance of a spike must be related to a resonance point that can be related to the size or relation between the elements of the antenna. Other point of view is considering the inductance and capacitance of the components of your antenna. Some cables or wires might be behaving as capacitors or inductance that resonate in the frequency or in a sub-harmonic point.
I would check with the Smith chart to find how to flatten that point in frequency.
Finally, Do you really need a that flat band? You really need to think about the application needs.
