Renewable energy (RE) resources, irrespective of prices, gained popularity based on its low negative impacts on environment. During COVID-19 lock down in the world, despite a slash in the economy, a positive effects has been observed on the environment. The earth is reviving ecologically. Air pollution has drastically reduced in big cities, ozone layer has regenerated. Non renewable sources are still cheaper than RE sources. Will this create a slow trend in RE technologies and their usages?
