Dear all,

I am curious that if anyone knows whether surface markers such as F4/80, or CD206 are stable in paraffin sections?

The small intestine paraffin sections are about 3 years old, and I have tried multiple conditions but failed to stain F4/80. I also did the antigen retrieval for IF.

However, I have no issue when staining intracellular proteins, such as Ki-67 or Olfm4.

Therefore, I am curious if the surface markers decay faster?

Thank you in advance!
