For example, you want to view protein A and protein B by immunofluorescence microscopy in a mouse cell. So you get rabbit anti-A and mouse anti-B. They you get green-labeled goat anti-rabbit and red-labeled goat anti-mouse. Will this work? Or do you have to buy red-labeled donkey anti-mouse? Also a related question, if both secondaries are raised in goat, then it should be perfect to use normal goat serum for blocking, right? But if you have one donkey and one goat secondary then should you make a mix of donkey and goat normal serums? Or do you only have to worry about the one that is recognizing the mouse primary raised in the same animal as the mouse sample you are using.
