In fact, the reduce matrix element on the left side of the equation (see in figure) denotes the electron capture process, and the right side reduce matrix denotes auger process.
I want to know whether the auger's reduced matrix element can be replaced by the the matrix element of electron capture in the study of the polarization property in atomic collision process. If not, what relationship between the two reduce matrixs.
