This question needs equation and structures. If there is any acid groups, forming salt with KOH which is soluble in water. in every cases it should be checked by TLC in order to know how many compounds are produced, and match with the starting materials. You can do liquid-liquid extraction to separate the organic products from the salt, do TLC and evaporate the organic solvent.
