In some experiments people where result not come positive, people goes for publication bias, this is a type of bias that occurs in published academic research. It occurs when the outcome of an experiment or research study influences the decision whether to publish or otherwise distribute it. Publication bias matters because literature reviews regarding support for a hypothesis can be biased if the original literature is contaminated by publication bias. Publishing only results that show a significant finding disturbs the balance of findings

Negative result is as important as positive. If your approach is positive then you can write negative results also. It is also a new finding that some objective can not addressed using some reagent or chemical or organism.but the writing approach should be positive, most importantly in titles.

My concerns is that now days people always expected for positive result, if any case negative result comes they hide and support positive result, i am blaming or quoting, positive or negative,, result is result, for future coming generation of researcher everybody should publish true results.. positive or negative
Generally, negative results and defects are not published widely. Every researcher would face difficulty to arrive at the right solution or results. Many do not publish the path they underwent to get the correct results or solution. On the other hand, it would be difficult to publish negative results in a leading journal. Editors may not consider it. Please refer the attached figure. This is how currently the academic research moves on. However, negative results also highly required to convert a research outcome into a real time industry product.
You will have to check the repeatability of your method and if it keeps producing the negative results then it may be that it is not in fact negative results but instead there may be something wrong with your hypothesis, etc. In such case, it would be better to discuss these issues.
