If E-cad and Vimentin increased simultaneously, how to interpret?

I am doing research focusing on EMT, but I found that E-cad and Vimentin increased simultaneously frequently after treatment. How to interpret this phenomenon? Do guys you have some literature to explain or explore on this issue?
