What can be Biological reason behind a scenario, Where identification and Expression can be detected only in protein/peptide level and couldn't able to get any evidence for the same in mRNA level, Specifically RNASeq.
As i have compare the data from NGS based Genomics and Mass Spectrometry based Proteomics, few proteins can be identified and observe only in Proteomics data and not in Genomics (RNASeq) data.
Any suggestion on biological reason behind this, ?
Higher rate of RNA turnover than corresponding protein turnover. The transcripts would degrade faster than the protein.
Do extracellular genes has less half life than other genes, as i could get other genes except few which falls in extracellular gene category
don't know that, but you if you have good quality RNAseq data you can calculate the mRNA half life using software from here:
it gets the ratio of production to degradation of mRNA by looking at NGS reads mapped to introns/exons
