I'm working on conjugation of growth factor with biomaterials. Now I'm using the antibody with fluorescence dye to check the concentration of growth factor that I can conjugate, however, the results came out not satisfy. I have try many time, but still unstable. So I would like to is there any way to check the growth factor concentration in biomaterials? Thank you.
Hi, is your scaffold degradable without destroying the growth factors ? if yes, perform ELISA after scaffold degradation (the simplest way according to me), if no do you have any biological assay attesting and indirectly quantifiying the presence of the growth factor? (gowth quantification, morphology, gene or preotein expression induced by the growth factor)

Biomaterials you mentioned may be scaffolds I suppose. So while preparing scaffolds a specific concentration of growth factor you will add in each scaffold. So that is the particular concentration of GF. The GF concentration after the preparation can be measured by fluorescent readings as you mentioned (may be by slicing of the biomaterial into thin sections if it is 3D and then tagging) or GF estimation assays you can perform.
