Hello,
I am currently running an experiment on a pressure swirl nozzle where the swirl chamber length is adjustable. However, although the pressure at inlet was set to constant 15 bar, for shorter chamber lengths the discharge mass flow is smaller and Cd decreases. I have trouble understanding the physics behind this phenomena. How is it that at constant pressure different mass flow can be achieved? Eventually, I'll be needing an inflow b.c. for simulation, any help would be appreciated.
thanks.
