I want to grow sodium nanowires/nanoroots of around 80-100 nm over glass substrate. As sodium is very reactive, I can't go for any chemical process and I don't have Electron Beam Deposition facility in my lab. So, I need a physical method to do this. Other thing is, I have not found any literature/paper who has done sodium nanowires/nanoroots of any size. So, can anyone suggest me a fabrication method for this?

And if anyone can find me any paper/patent who has done sodium nanowire fabrication, that would be great. I have seen people made sodium thin film over Si or, other substrates, but haven't found anything like nanowires/nanoroots/nanospheres
