Hello I want to freeze my mealworms ( they are going to be alive) for a couple of days, I have a lot of them to extract for RNA and cannot do it in one day so I was thinking of freezing them in liquid nitrogen first and then in -80c. I don't want to affect the RNA quality, so my question is do I freeze it in liquid nitrogen and then in -80c or there is a better and safer way.I will appreciate any helpful answer.
