The Nano Drop at A280 seems to be rapid method of screening. Can it be technically accurate?
Ideally, for good estimation, you should not have any other component in your sample which can contribute to the absorbance at 280 nm.

Why the same can not be done by proper uvvis
NanoDrop A280, although a quick method, but it has disadvantages. This method measures the concentration of tryptophan and phenylalanine, i.e. the content of aromatic amino acids in the protein. If their content is reduced, you will get low protein content and vice versa. Determination of protein content is influenced especially by ionic surfactants SDS. It is necessary to avoid the state of the protein when it is positively charged. Then part of the protein or all of the protein interacts with SDS to form a precipitate.
