That rather depends on the quality of the feedback. Some colleagues are particularly bad at giving feedback to their peers and it sometimes comes across as if they are dreading student work. On the other hand some comments are extremely useful and it often pays to get a (trusted) colleague to have a look at any work you intend to publish.
