I need the exact method for extracting the RNA from BIO Film forming cells, formed in 24-well polystyrene latex plate at 3 timings 8,16 & 24 hrs

I need to know how to take the cells from the wells to proceed to RNA extraction, taking in consideration that in one of my conditions the biofilm is nearly absent so how will i evaluate it while i have no cells to take and extract RNA
