I want to conduct a study about the forecasting characteristics of the industrial customers. Also, I want to compare them with the residential customers. Unfortunately unlike my primary expectation, unlike the residential customers, I found no information on hourly electricity consumption of such customers. I appreciate if anyone share such data with me, or if you have an information about where I can find data, direct me to the right place.
It is worth mentioning that there are abundance of data in the aggregated level, but not in the individual level. I need the granular data of several industrial customers for at least a month. The industrial segment of the customer is not important.

I think that you will find this is commercially sensitive information and you won't easily get access to it. I am wondering why you want it, if the industrial sector it comes from is not important? The industrial sector it comes from will strongly determine the shape of the consumption curve.
It's surprising how scarce industrial data is. It would be great if utilities could reveal some industrial customers data without identifying the name of the customers. You need just the trend of loads and it is not important this load data belongs to which manufacturer!

the international energy agency (IEA, www.iea.org) is a organisation were lots of energy datat for different countries is concentrated. Use the link below were you can estimate the content of a published book of the IEA that provides the data you need (monthly not hourly). There you can find the electricity data from 1960 to 2014 for 34 OECD counties. But for the content of the book you have to pay for a single user licence 550 € (ca. 617 US $).

In germany we have similar problems with the accumulation of hourly electricity data. For a single licence you have to pay yearly fees to the EEX for such granular data.
Thomas, thanks for the link. However, what I need is a granular hourly electricity consumption for 20 separate industrial plants (it can be for any sector). The aggregated consumption is useless for the purpose of my research.
I think it it very hard to access these data. The first concern is data security. Even utilities who have already installed AMI to their industrial customers, may have data, they have no authority to share them without permission from customers or regulation entity.
There have been many DR pilots which were implemented in US. Some of them were targeted to industrial customers. I recommand you to look for the appropriate pilot study report by Internet search. And, then you may be able to contact to authors who have conducted these studies. Most of these studies use individual customers' hourly load data for the evaluation of pilot program.
I am also interested in load data at the lower level of the grid (household, buidling, quarter level). Currently I am working with residential data. Datasets at that level seem really rare still, and some I have access to are also not public. However, on my search for data I came across a few that might be interesting to you:

I have not looked at them or just briefly some time ago, but according to my list the resolution should be as you need and it should be commercial buidlings. However, I don't know if they qualify as "large" for you research.
