Can anybody tell me the TBARS assay protocol in human plasma ?

The procedure which I used was 0.5ml plasma plus 1.5ml of 20 percent TCA in HCL followed by centifugation for 3400 RPM for 10 minutes 1ml of the supernatant plus 2 ml of 0.67 percent TBA and the tubes were mixed and kept at 65 degree celsius for 20 minutes but pink colour was not formed .Pls temme the irregularities in this procedure
