Hi if you intend to store the solution, add nitric acid into your As solution.
Common concentration is 10% v/v.
It keep arsenic in ionized form, it prevent arsenic stick on the wall of your container or precipitate out of solution.
It helps maintain your solution's concentration to some extend.
Just take the molecular weight of each type of salts. Check the molar weight of arsenic in each compounds. Standard solutions: 100 ppm (better because the solution can be made again after a while) or 1000 ppm.
For arsenite, the solution should be stored in dark, dry conditions. For arsenite, you might need additional chemicals to preserve.
How can i prepare 100 ppm sodium arsenite (NaAsO2) solution? The chemical is analytical grade. I have to prepare 3500 ppm total for my pot experiment.
