The journal you mention “IJISRT (International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology)”: https://www.ijisrt.com/ is mentioned in the update version of the Beall’s list: https://beallslist.net/standalone-journals/#update See for more discussion about the use of this list on multiple places here on RG. Though mentioned in Beall’s list is not enough to say it is predatory/fake, it is a red flag. Other red flags are:
· No DOI assignment to papers
· Prominent mentioning of fake impact factor (SJIF), https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/
· False claim of PubMed indexing
· Misleading link to Thomson Reuters (Researcher ID has nothing to do with journal/paper indexing in Clarivate)
· ISI is (another example of) misleading index that suggests link to real impact factor (https://www.researchgate.net/post/Difference_and_importance_of_International_Scientific_Indexing_ISI_Scientific_Indexing_Services_SIS_and_Global_Impact_Factor_GIF)
So enough reasons to avoid this journal. If possible look for another journal.
Best regards.
PS. Did you experienced any kind of review process? Or did you receive an acceptance shortly after your submission.
IJISRT is a good journal. I publish lots of papers. Lots of time i get rejection of my paper from IJISRT reviewer team. If they are providing review result in one day that is not mean, IJISRT is providing fake review result. I also got rejection review results in one day. After correction of my paper, IJISRT reviewer team accept my paper.
I really agree that when the journal is included in Beall's list of predatory, it does not mean that is a fake journal but at least it is a beginning point for an author to submit a paper or not. They are suspected of not following the required peer review process. When they are included in Beall's list, they are in the "red flag" category.
It is always advisable for all authors to carefully go over the indices of the journal if they are authentic or not. Even if they look authentic, it is not enough to rely on them but one has to check if your papers are already listed or published in them. That is the purpose of indexing, to distribute our paper for visibility.
The scope of this journal is too broad. I don't know if they seek expertise advice for reviewing. And if there is no peer-reviewing, then it is not worthwhile to publish in it. All papers must be subjected to peer-review process and the outcome criteria to be made known to authors.
IJISRT is not a predatory journal. IJISRT is following proper review process. For my papers, i got rejection from IJISRT due to some corrections and after correction in paper, i got acceptance letter.
Do read my reply of February 24th 2020. SJIF is a notorious example of a fake impact factor also known as misleading metric: https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/ The only real impact factor is assigned by Clarivate (SCIE or SSCI indexed) and the closely related CiteScore assigned by Scopus.
Best regards.
PS. See the latest JCR report, this journal is not indexed. You can check the index (not mentioned means no index if mentioned you can see whether it is ESCI, SCIE or SSCI) for individual titles here: https://mjl.clarivate.com/home
It's a fake journal, They keep on spamming my mail inbox and they say fast publication by 2-3 days and that's impossible if the journal is a peer reviewed and indexed in pubmed as they say.
Based on Beall's List of the predatory journal, IJISRT is a predatory journal. Though Beall's list of predatory journals is a controversial one, however, it is still a useful guide for researchers to choose a good journal which is not on the list. Beyond that, we, researchers should check the journal website and examine the quality of the journal based on the papers they published. Check also the indices that they claim and find out if they are transparent or not and see the papers if the papers are published in such indices. Use also the misleading metrics of Beall to check if the journal places all those misleading metrics in their journal.
IJISRT is a good journal. In the journals we have to check firstly what is the acceptance ratio. I basically suggest if you want to check the quality / acceptance ratio of journal then submit papers in journal. I submit papers in IJISRT my some papers was rejected because they was not in good quality. In my 4 papers, 1 paper was accepted only because paper quality was good. According to my experience IJISRT is good journal and the reason behind it is only their review process. They are checking every paper in two stage of review. I will suggest for IJISRT.
Victor Kelechi Nwodo They already mention their indexing at the website. IJISRT is not indexed in Scopus but it doesn't mean that it is a predatory journal. IJISRT is a good journal for publishing.
How about all of us who has been misled by that journal gather and sue them? I am definitely going to. Also, spread the word around the world around all social media. ;) So that.
Check the Beall's list first if you doubt the journal. In my previous answer, I have given my observation of the journal. It is included in the Beall's list of predatory journals. You should not proceed. But again, as I mentioned in my previous answer, Beall's list is a controversial one which means that it is still "a suspicion" to be predatory.
IJISRT is a good journal. They have also online chat system for solve the issue of authors. It is not necessary that only reputed indexed journal are good. Some journal are also working in a proper review results. IJISRT is one of them. According to me IJISRT is a good journal.

It is a predatory Journal. Meaning they do not care about the quality of your work they are just accepting. They just even say no modification required. If even your work needs some improvements. It looks they are in business therefore they don't care even your work is in poor quality.
Yes IJISRT is a reliable journal and it has participated in more one conference that I was participated in it. The conference gave a chance for all members to choose of three journals (IEEE,
IJISRT, and Taiz University Research Journal) for publishing their papers and IJISRT was one of those journals which means it's an adequate one.
Its better to avoid such journals. I guess they send you a acceptance mail within 1-2 days with a peer review process. The only thing they do it copy paste your manuscript into their format and add it directly into their website. They are not indexed nor have a proper editorial board. You can add your articles in free journals that doesnot charge you for submission nor for publication.
i have also submitted on this journal without checking the index rather than seeing publon ID and PubMed link! OMG! the web site has no way for wthdrow the submitted paper!
