I have peak splitting in conventional XRD for a MPB composition, however high energy syncrotron diffraction of the same sample doesn't have any peak splitting for the same sample. Why it look likes cubic reflections in high energy synchrotorn diffraction pattern?..

Based on the compositional nature of the sample we are getting the reflected peaks in XRD measuremetns. However, may be u can try to fit the data using rietveld refinement programs (GSAS II, FULL PROF, etc.,) for both XRD and HES diffraction patterns. From those results, if you try to trace any additional phases (if present) coexist in this sample . Then there is a significant phase transition occurs in your sample which was unable to trace in XRD analysis.
