A very good question. There is a strong need for evidence for any strategies that are to be implemented for patients. Tooth mousse has less evidence as compared to traditional fluoride. As far as my knowledge is concerned, these offer limited advantage over conventional fluoride therapy. Fluoride therapy does the job well too. However; there may be further evidence which can be shared here.
Also GC manufactures Tooth Mousse without fluoride which can be used in children less than 6 years. Another important thing it should not be used in people having milk protein allergies.
GC tooth Moses should not be used for hypersensitive patients due to radiation and chemo therapy . Because at thIs stage the tissues are more sensitive to benzocaine .
