For Industrial Purposes

I am preparing a powder for reconstitution for oral use (sachet) containing:

- Dioctahedral Smectate

- Pectin

- Kaolin

as active ingredients. The ratio of Pectin to Kaolin is 1:1 (cannot be changed as being among active ingredients). During the preparation, a formation of lumps (caking) is observed that maybe resulting from Pectin.

I tried to use different wetting agents either surfactants such as polysorbates or sodium lauryl sulphate in different conc., and/or non-surfactant derivatives such as polyethylene glycol, but they didn't  improve it well. Also, I changed the process to wet or melt granulation but it didn't help as well.

Any suggestions or comments?

I am looking forward to your help.
