I need help on what to do because my original work was copied and pasted under another name and it was even published in an online journal. I need advise please. I tried to check the identity of the author but I cant seem to find the person in social media.
You probably need to contact the editor of the journal with evidence that you published the work earlier and proof of plagiarism. Contacting the author might not be necessary because they might as well ignore your emails. If need be, you may contact the institution the author claims to have conducted the research.
Side note: Using social media might the best way to get quick attention from the editors. I will suggest sharing the full reference of your paper here and the reference of the infringing paper.

thank you for that Mr. Sanganyado, I have attached my original research and the copied version. It turned out that the researcher was from our university and from our college but the author was neither an employee, faculty or student in our university. I can't even search him for previous publications.
Copying full or part without giving credit to the original author is punishable offence and literary theft. If your work really copied by another persons, send notices both to writer and publishers under copyright act of the country you belong. However, you have to prove which part of your work is copied.
