Soft skills are skills needed by the global work market thus are practiced in learning activities and at work place include communication skills, IT Skills, numeracy skills, learning skills, problem solving skills and working with others.
Competitiveness refers to the eagerness and the effort of a person to apply, maintain, and improve and promote his/her soft skills and hard skills in his/work, task and learning consistently. Competitiveness categorized into three capacities; lifelong learning, entrepreneurship and employability. The level of competitiveness level was assumed to be affected by the level of his/her soft skills and hard skills.
How do you think the rationale behind the findings and please share to me some references, to be quoted in my paper. Thank you.
Competiveness is based on possessing soft skills. Social science students are more inclined towards acquiring these soft skills rather than natural science students. In social sciences more focus given to the social capital/relational capital, leading to more communicating and interacting skills. Which ensure the development of managerial skills, and organizations move from individual learning to the organizational learning capability(OLC). Causing competitive advantage for firms. For competitive advantage read Porter(1980) and for organizational learning capability read (Jerez-Gomez et al., 2005).

Yes, it is true. The reason is that pure science students are mostly laboratory guys, who are good at their own subject and not having many soft skills. On the contrary, Social science students are most of the time extrovert with many more extra skills like oral, written, digital, organizational, etc.
I agree with Surya Rathore on the instance that pure science students are mostly laboratory guys. The nature of their course is such that they are somehow restricted to issues of nature and experiments which makes it either difficult for them to have interest in other soft skills that are mostly seen to be 'literature' oriented. It is high time pure science students also see the literature aspect of science and demonstrate more soft skills in that regard.
Well, in my opinion I think it depends on the country, it depends on the pure and social science you are comparing and you would have to discriminate well which sciences you are comparing.
