i have coated ironnoxide nanoparticles with tetra ethyl orthosilicate with out functionalization with APTMS and i want to use it for the removal of dyed and metals,

Will it work?

thank you...but after coating surface of magnetic nanoparticles will terminate with oxygen atoms...will they be help full for 60-80% adsorption of dyes?
