I am using Ultracentrifugation technique for isolation of exosomes, does anyone have any idea how much protein can I get from 1 ml of mice plasma?
Hi Joseph, I isolated exosomes from I mL of human plasma several times. The concentration of exosomal proteins was in the range between 280 to 400 µg using lysis buffer.

I'm also work on exosome from human plasma. I isolate exosome from plasma by using ultracentrifugation. I got the concentration of exosome as same as your conc.
However, if i add the washing step after ultracentrifugation to make it more pure, the concentration of exosome is loss for 10-20 times. (Exosome concentration is approximately 20 ug from 1 mL plasma).
Why the exosome is loss so much in washing step?
Does the washing step after ultracentrifugation is necessary for exosome isolation?
