This is the antenna design and paper I am trying to replicate. I didn't use a grounding plane as one was not stated in the work. I also placed two waveguide ports on either end of the dielectric substrate. For some reason, my S11 parameter (reflection coefficient) is only showing a -1 dB at .789 GHz and 1.2126 GHz. The only warning I am receiving is "maximum number of pulse widths simulated, solver stopped. Please note steady state energy criterion has not been satisfied." I estimated a microstrip thickness of 1 and .5 mm but results stayed the same. I also tried copper and PEC for the antenna. I normalized to 50 ohm impedance and -50 dB for solver configurations.

Wondering if anyone can let me know if they see any errors I may have made of if the warning is indicative of something wrong or any other guesses. This is my first time designing antennas and using CST so not really sure where to go. Much appreciated!!
