I am simulating OAM phase distributions using metasurface. I am confused about the phase plot. Can anyone help me please?

Are the phase-front distributions of OAM mode in COMSOL is arg(ewfd.Ez) or atan2(imag(ewfd.Ey), real(ewfd.Ey)) *180/pi? Can anyone give me a concrete idea please? thank you
