I am aware that BN is different from Factor Analysis (FA) because of it considers probability distribution. Although they are both used to check the interconnections and dependencies in complex variables.

What other way is BN different from FA?

My advise is to use Explanatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modelling, which provides you appropriate result and proper statistical support.
