This is interesting. EIT would help you to define the areas which receive poor ventilation on a dynamic basis. I think the main problem would be to find electrode belts to fit the animals.

Another interesting area I'd like to consider EIT would be paired with high frequency oscillation vents.

That is a very good idea, perhaps in an ARDS model. Which EIT setup would you like to use?

I was thinking the same for the patients, but I couldn't get an EIT setup in my country.
