As part of my MSc project, I'm interested in creating a machine learning model that will better predict transportation routes, transportation mode of pickup and delivery of packages/passengers from one or more location(s) to a single or multiple destination(s).Generally looking at the vehicle routing problem(VRP) in relation with carbon emissions.

Any leads will be highly appreciated.
Update: I completed a thesis on this but would still love to get hold of similar data for further research work.
You can get this from some of the vehicular exhaust and from the airplane engine exhausts, most especially from the total fuel combustion. In addition, you can read some relevant research articles for references.

maybe HBEFA software hanbook from Infras Switzerland will be helpful for you. It will not solve your problem with VRP, just emissions you can find there. You can simulate there type of vehicle operation and chosen emissions production.
