I am facing a problem in my experiment due to contaminated DNA. There is no value below 300 nm in absorption spectrum . How can I solve this problem?

I understand that the absorption is close to zero below 300 nm.

Verify if the reference solution (the solution used in the reference position in a double beam spectrometer) has a high or a low absorption below 300 nm. Add an image of the recorded spectrum.
