I want to do EIS from Biologic instrument of thin-film made on ITO and FTO. Do I need to have three-electrode system or two-electrode system ? can someone guide me in what range and why should i take it ? also which equivalent circuit should i take? Those who had worked on EIS spectroscopy may come forward .

I used three electrode system in my case. But you still can used two electrode system if you need it.
The range could be between 1 Hz to 1MHz, however it is depending on your application purpose. If you are working with biomolecules detection, I suggest you to lower the frequency range. It is also important for you to refer on some literature (that relates to your application study) before you decide the range.
About the equivalent circuit, well, based on my knowledge, it is depending on your surface characteristic. For examples if your have porous (CPE) or nonporous (C) surface. It also depending on how many different type of material layers do you applied on your thin film (which result the curve to have more than one semicircle). To confirm the type of your thin film equivalent circuit, you need to fit your data in a software. I used NOVA 2.0.
