A) The Solvita method is to re-wet prepared soil samples so that 50% of the pore space is hydrated and the CO2 respiration (24Hours) is measured.

B) The H3A acid extraction is a weak acid (Citric/Oxalic) designed to measure soluble carbon and nutrients this extract is analysed through a  ICP spectrometer  to separate organic and in-organic N & P species so that we can get a better understand Humus/microbial carbon, Org N and Org P fractions.
