nylon membrane was coated with PVDF/silica suspension, and placed in oven at 90 degrees, but silica seems not adhere. Casting on nylon membrane is not mandatory; the target is create a layer with the silica particles, to make a membrane with the hydrophobi silica developed and test the organics adsorption from water

This might be due to incompatibility between PVDF and Silica. You can first prepare PVDF solution and silica suspension separately. I would suggest to sonicate silica suspension prior and after mixing with PVDF solution. Mix PVDF and Silica well and then coat it either b dip coating or spin coating on the nylon membrane. Spin coating will be better to obtain thin films. You need to check with the viscosity of final solution before coating. Use appropriate solvent for making solution.
