Yes I agree with you. Biological changes are slow and human instincts are same as we're before. If we are changing, it might be very slow. Rather inequality within the society showing our self esteem behavior.

If moral development would go with progress, the world would be better place to live in.

I agree that the Technological Revolution is Greater than the Ethical or Moral Evolution. Technological evolution that has provided many benefits to society, but is still not fully regulated.

Some examples:

To mention just one of them, where there are still no Laws or ethical and moral standards that regulate them in an appropriate manner, which is indispensable at this time.

Humankind is better. Technology is evolving quickly, but morally, we are still very far from what we should be. Don´t you agree?

Think evolving technologies always test our mankind ethicality because newer technologies enable us to do more with less, do things differently / creatively or more automatically etc. that can widen the our exposure for unethical decision-making / actions. Think one of the contributors / factors in influencing our unethicality is our personal moral philosophy.

E.g. when some people are subscribing to utilitarianism moral philosophy, they might calculate their utility for personal gain by abusing technologies resulting unethical decisions / actions. On the other hand, when other people who are subscribing to Kantianism moral philosophy, they might stick to their positive moral principles & less likely succumb to unethical decision / action albeit confronting the evolving technologies.

We are always in the sorcerer's apprenticeship ; the human learning curve is slower and lower than the technical one; only ethical learning processes can close this gap. Modern knowledge and classical wisdom have to be brought together, especially in education, economics and medicine. Quantitative knowledge transfer (the learning assembly line) alone is not sufficient to cope with the challenge of moral behavior; the educated personality must be put back into the focus of learning. In any case, the ethics is now in our hands, it is a matter of value preferences.

Morally we as an human beings should respect the core values, which is diminishing by our thought process that technology is everything

When I think about the ever corroding nature of morality, I weep for the world and its future progeny. Another stimulating question!

Humankind has an advantage that other animals and, so far, artificial forms of life from AI to robotics, do not - cultural evolution. Cultural evolution offers us language and socialization with which we communicate, produce communities and cultures that free us to adapt better to our world. It's so powerful that Richard Dawkins coined the term "meme" in parallel with biological evolution's genes to describe the engine of cultural evolution.

And yes, it's a double-edged sword, allowing us to make bad choices too. But neither other animals nor technology so far can make choices. Choices are the domain of ethics and morality. And only humans ask questions about whether we are going in the right direction, whether we cause more harm than good and whether we are or should be or not be the stewards of this Earth.

Stories about artificial life or divine intervention aside, neither the Golem of Prague nor Frankenstein's monster conceived on the shores of Lake Geneva have the power to ask self-conscious questions such as the one you pose. This makes us not only more powerful but in principle more intelligent and with the power to be more ethical. Human consciousness and freedom also mean we may not always choose wisely.

I believe that you really got the point: " Human consciousness and freedom also mean we may not always choose wisely". And this does all the difference.

There is a filosofer (which´s name I am not risking to tell, cause I can be wrong and so, unfair) that sais: "animals are totally free to be animals and live by instincts. Men are not free at all since we have to dominate and - not rarely - fight against our own instincts /feelings to keep going and be right."

Practically our moral sense is decreasing. So, we are running towards lowest morality stage or zero morality stage.

I think we respect and understand all. The important thing we are here to do something good for the society on the right and honesty way to save the HUMANITY all over the World.

You may find Steven Pinker’s book “The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined” of interest.

Certainly, there are evils that exist today that are more intense than previously, but there are also frontiers of improvement. For example, neoliberalism taps into humankind's sadistic tendencies, yet according to Pinker, we have become more empathetic and self-controlled creatures, too.

I think we will always be moraly far from where we should be. For the simple perspective that morality exists on two levels, public and personal.

Public morality is driven by our sanctionable adherance to national laws and soceital codes of acceptable conduct. As technology drives greater transparrency nd makes it harder to hide divergence ,our public morality improves as long as the fear of punishment or social ostracism remains effective.

Personal morality is a tougher issue. In the west, the decline established religous adherence and faith in a higher power. Has reduced the sense of personal private accountability or introspection on the state of our attitudes feelings and beings. As soceital attitudes and tolerances to issues like domestic violence and non physical coercive control change. What was once hidden is being brought out into the open and legally punished. Thus public morality is seen to improve with out necessarily addressing the root causes.

In summary:

I believe our clothes are cleaner than before but our souls are just as tainted as they have ever been, if not more so.
