I am self-trained on a Waters HPLC system and I am having trouble formulating a procedure. I need to simultaneously detect Daunomycin and Dexamethasone in a solution of water. I have been running water: acetonitrile (70:30 v/v) with 1% acetic acid at room temperature at 1mL/min. Dexamethasone is easily detected on its own. Daunomycin also seems to give me a peak, but it is a much smaller peak than expected, so I am not sure it is correct. Has anybody ever done these two drugs together before? Thanks for the help.
