I am reading a lot about (school) inclusion – specifically for the case of autistic children – and this is a very wide concept, depending on the authors and the field of study. I would like to compare and clarify my conception and way to understand school inclusion with a larger community of researchers in the field of psychology or education. In the US, inclusion is the right of a child with a disability to receive education in the general education classroom. This includes children with autism. Schools may choose to have full inclusion, where all children of varying abilities learn together in the same classes or partial inclusion, where students with disabilities may attend the regular classes for some parts of the day.
These articles problematizes inclusion of deaf children, but may be relevant for you, too, since they also offer a discussion on various ways to understand and view "inclusion" in educational settings.

Debra: That is true, this is a very controversial topic! That's why i'm trying to see the different meanings according the researchers in education & psychology. This is wide! I also found, during my reading, some questionnaires and scales for teachers particularly inspiring!
