After centrifugation, I dried my MOF samples under 50C in a blast oven for many hours (didn't count exactly). However, my samples always became rock-like bulks after drying, which I had to grind to powder for further steps. So I just wonder how will the drying conditions (time, temperature, etc.) affect the morphology and size of the as-obtained solids? Is there something I can do to get smaller particles directly after drying? Thanks!
