RG is doing a very good job to scholars in more ways than what I can count. Just few examples:

1) The scholar will know what researches are going on, in other institutions, that are similar to his/her research interests.

2) The scholar is given the opportunity to ask questions to which s/he does not have answers.

3) It connected scholars with each other in a unique way.

4) When a scholar contributes something, s/he will be very careful language-wise & science-wise because the contribution will be read by brainy scholars so more precision or more accuracy is gained.

5) There are unexpected genius issues that are raised every now & then which are difficult to find in sites other than RG.  

Presently, RG is serving as hub for many researches as well as researchers. Several new and innovating trends, approaches and methodologies exist in the form of publications in addition to Q&A.  I have come to know quite amazing approaches, directions and methods related to scientific research on this forum. Therefore, I would say, thanks RG!

• I am happy being encouraged to draw my attention to a wider spectrum of papers from journals whether they are listed or not but contain papers which are of value for subjects I am interested in or onto subjects I have not thought of for some time but which I find interesting when reading them whether they belong to my specialty or not. I am very enjoyably taken by the diversity and sincerety of subjects discussed and deepened in other parts of the world.  

Therefore I conclude: Researchgate is widening the angle of vision. 

• I am very glad about the contacts built up with colleagues around the globe. Due to the notes I received I was able to yield specialists from other countries to publish 2 papers in a scientific journal I am editor of. 

Therefore I conclude: Researchgate is a medium for prefessional

communication / connections.

• Now I try to compose a multiprofessional, multicultural, multicontinental „virtual“ reasearchgruoup for an interesting subject of global public health.

Therefore I hope to conclude justifiably in the future: Researchgate is a

medium for virtual research / publishing projects.

Among the things already said about RG above, it allows me to keep track of the new publications of the experts in my field. This is useful for me as an editor of an academic journal.

I got acquainted with few good and smart scholars and researchers (like you) around the globe. Otherwise, I am where I was before. 

Since RG is a moderated network I feel safe here! 

To be honest, RG so far has allowed me to come in direct contact with many peers in various disciplines and get their viewpoints on the topics that are of interest to the research community. To that extent it allowed me to get myself enriched in the process. But I would expect that many people are able to get quick responses to their research questions or get good guidance to proceed in that direction. I am satisfied with my contribution and experiences. Would be interested if some alliances can be formed to get some research work.

RG's benefits are:

1. Helps to know new thinking/research in the areas of our interest, not necessarily confined to our specialities.

2. Helps you to build rapport with researchers/academics across the world. You get new ideas and fresh approach.

3. Gives a platform to host your papers facilitating comments/peer review. Though on this front, I feel we researchers need to be liberal in offering objective comments on papers that we download/read.

4. Facilitates collaboration on specific projects.

On the whole, the RG experience is quite satisfying and for the most part, stimulating.

Certainly, Research Gate has an impact on my science researches deepening. At the same time RG has high impact  through the number of respected friends I Have.

Research Gate is a kind of basic window where I can both share my work and have a brief look at other researches work. It makes it possible to know new collegues from other university centers and discuss their perspectives. From my perspective it would be wonderful if it helps to build any international links that could help to apply for international research grants.

Researchgate is the platform to share your new ideas with huge numbers of researchers and academicians. It is very quick and effective platform to circulate your research. Number of researchers view your new research and than share their views about your research. So with this help you know how you will develop yourself more and more.
