Accurate performance evaluation of Cloud Computing resources is a necessary prerequisite for both client and provider to ensure that quality of service parameters remain within agreed limits. For that, many researchers were modeled the cloud computing using different analytical modeling technique such as queuing networks, Markov models, Petri nets, etc
But the question that arises is “how we choose the most suitable analytical modeling technique for cloud computing”.
I agree with Suvendu Chandan Nayak , he explained that in a very practical way.
Choose of the suitable modeling technique depends upon the requirement designing. It doesn't mean that all models are best and worst. My suggestion is to set your requirement parameters the choose the model. All the models have their requirement parameters. In case of cloud, it would be better to look SLA, QoS, Availability, Integration and Migration.
