At the moment I have a TIFF image file and the projection of this image file is called near-side vertical perspective projection (please have a look at the attached image).

Now I would like to reproject my image data to a common geographic Lat/Long coordinate system.

I found out in MATLAB there is a vperspec function, but I do not know how it will work? Or how I can use it to solve an inverse problem.

I would appreciate if you could let me know whether you have any idea about this or not?
