Dear all, we will be working on a diagnostic biomarker chip with about 14,000 printed Ab dots and fluorescence detection. We expect that not single biomarkers will be predictive rather a pattern including disease specific and unspecific markers and risk factors. Who can give me a bit more insight on how this can be achieved and - even better - who would be interested in collaborating on such a project? Cheers, Harald

Well, we expect dots of different intensity. Up to 14,000. Each analyte is measure in triplicate. So 14,000 : 3, we expect averaged data on up to about 4,600 analytes. These signals then correlate with certain outcomes in these patients, e.g. stroke, myocardial infarction, etc.
