Can anyone suggest the strategy to write "introduction section". The introduction section contain the 'need of research' , 'related literature', etc. What we present the in this section and in which order?
The introductory section of a paper or thesis is critical because it is the part that would incite readers to keep on reading your paper or not. Personally, these tips have been helpful:
1. Give a general background to the study
2. Show and discuss the main findings of recent studies/theories in the field of inquiry
3. Point out the academic vacuum or knowledge gaps in the area of research which would be filled by your study
4. Accentuate and argue substantially, the relevance of the study and why the filling of the identified knowledge gap is crucial
5. Show clearly the research questions that pivots the study

The Introduction observes generally agreed rhetorical protocols. This conveys to readers that the researcher is familiar with academic publication style, and that can add professionalism to the researcher’s work. Additionally, when the academic style is adopted, it is easier for academic readers to directly follow the paper’s structure. Literature reviews present the theoretical and the empirical background for a research paper’s investigation. Regardless of area of study, an acceptable literature review provides the broader context in which a research problem is put, the present status of knowledge on the topic, and also emphasizes the need and significance for moving the discipline forward.
